Section 19-C:1 Commission Established. - New Hampshire Statutes

There is hereby created and established an American and Canadian French cultural exchange commission to consist of 11 members, all of whom shall be American citizens fluent in the French language and residents of the state, to be appointed by the governor and council for terms of 7 years. The governor and council shall designate one of the members as chairman and shall fill vacancies for the unexpired term. The members shall serve without compensation. The commission is authorized to accept any gifts, grants or donations and to disburse and administer the same for the purposes of this chapter with governor and council approval.
