NEW HAMPSHIRE STATUTES AND CODES

Section 502-A:36 Pending Actions, How Transferred.

All criminal proceedings pending before the municipal court of any town abolished under the provisions of RSA 502-A:35 shall be transferred to the district court having jurisdiction thereof and shall be heard and tried as if originally commenced therein. All civil causes and proceedings pending before a municipal court abolished after July 1, 1964, may be transferred by the plaintiff, without payment of entry or other fees to a district court having jurisdiction thereof, to be heard and tried as if originally commenced therein. Failure to transfer any civil cause or proceeding within 60 days of the effective date of the abolition of the court in which it is pending shall be deemed an abatement of such action. All other records of municipal courts abolished after July 1, 1964, under RSA 502-A:35 shall be filed with the secretary of state.
