The commissioner shall give notice of the times and places by him appointed to examine and allow claims, in such manner as the judge in his commission directs; and he shall file in the probate office, within thirty days after his appointment, a notice giving the times and places of his meetings, and shall in the report state the times and places of meeting, and the manner of giving notice thereof, and the date of his filing the notice in the probate office; and shall also file in said office satisfactory evidence of the notice.
