Section 284:15-c Local Option. - New Hampshire Statutes

No license shall be issued by the commission for holding a dog race meet in any city or town until the city or town at an annual or special meeting called for the purpose has, by majority vote of those voting on the question, approved of the issuance of a license in the city or town. Approval by the voters under this section shall be valid for 10 years. If no license is issued within 10 years from the date of approval, a subsequent vote of approval shall be required before a license shall be issued by the commission.
