NEW HAMPSHIRE STATUTES AND CODES

Section 330-A:16 Psychologists.


   I. The board shall issue a psychologist license to any person who:
      (a) Has passed a satisfactory examination in psychology.
      (b) Has received the doctoral degree based on a program of studies, the content of which was primarily psychological, from a regionally accredited educational institution having a graduate program, or its substantial equivalent in both subject matter and extent of training.
      (c) Has had at least 2 years of satisfactory, supervised experience in the field of psychology.
      (d) Is of good professional character.
      (e) Has paid all fees set by the board.
   II. Examinations for applicants under this chapter shall be held by the board at least once each year. The board shall determine the subject and scope of the examination, which may be written, oral, or both. If an applicant fails the first examination, the applicant may be admitted to a subsequent examination upon the payment of an additional fee in an amount to be determined by the board.
