Section 347:11 Fees. - New Hampshire Statutes

Surveyors and cullers shall receive the following fees: For surveying shingles and clapboards, $.04 per 1,000; for viewing and culling barrel staves, $.28 per 1,000; for hogshead staves, $.34 per 1,000; for pipe staves, $.40 per 1,000; for butt staves, $.45 per 1,000; for shooks, 1/3 of a cent each; for hoops $.50 per 1,000; and for heading, $.33 per 1,000, the refuse to be counted in all cases as well as the merchantable; the fees for such survey to be paid by the owner, and the fees paid for the survey of the merchantable to be by him recovered of the buyer; for surveying boards, timber and other lumber, $.08 per 1,000 feet for viewing only, and $.08 per 1,000 feet additional for measuring and marking, and in the same proportion in all cases for a less quantity.
