Section 384:61 Penalties. - New Hampshire Statutes

Whoever fails to comply with the provisions of this subdivision shall forfeit to the state up to $5,000 a day for every day or part of a day during which such violation continues. Any such violation shall be forthwith reported by the commissioner to the attorney general, and the forfeiture may be recovered by an information or other appropriate proceeding brought in the superior court in the name of the commissioner. The attorney general, in the name of the commissioner, may also seek to enjoin the continuation of any violation.
