NEW HAMPSHIRE STATUTES AND CODES

Section 388:11 Notice to Depositors.

The commissioner shall give notice of union by contract to all depositors of the contracting institutions. Said notice shall include the names and business addresses of the contracting institutions, a summary of the plan of consolidation, the effective date of union, the fact that the amount due each depositor of the respective institutions may be withdrawn on or before the effective date of union upon demand, and such other information as the commissioner may deem necessary or advisable. Said notice shall be sufficient if published at appropriate intervals during a period of at least 30 days in some newspaper of general circulation in the county or counties in which the contracting institutions are located, the first such publication to be at least 30 days before the effective date of union; provided, however, the commissioner shall notify out of state depositors of the contracting institutions by mail at least 30 days before the effective date of the union. The commissioner shall file an appropriate return of such publication.
