Section 388:16 Branches. - New Hampshire Statutes

Notwithstanding any provision of RSA 384-B:2, II, to the contrary, as part of the proceedings for consolidation by contract authorized by RSA 388:8, the commissioner shall have exclusive authority to grant approval to the bank resulting from consolidation to operate as a branch office or offices the business of any other bank acquired in such consolidation, subject to the deposit limitations set forth in RSA 384-B:2, II, as determined by the commissioner.
