17B:26B-1 - Health insurers to offer basic health care policies
17B:26B-1. Health insurers to offer basic health care policies Every health insurer authorized to do business in this State which delivers or issues for delivery policies in accordance with the provisions of chapter 26 of Title 17B of the New Jersey Statutes shall offer for sale individual basic health care policies in accordance with accepted underwriting standards for payment of benefits to each person covered thereunder.
Every health insurer authorized to do business in this State which delivers or issues for delivery policies in accordance with the provisions of chapter 27 of Title 17B of the New Jersey Statutes shall offer for sale group basic health care policies in accordance with accepted underwriting standards for payment of benefits to each person covered thereunder.
