24:11A-5 - Bread and rolls;  vitamin and mineral content;  minimum standards

24:11A-5.  Bread and rolls;  vitamin and mineral content;  minimum standards    Until the department shall establish other standards, as hereinafter provided, it shall be unlawful for any person to manufacture, bake, sell, serve, expose or offer for sale, for human consumption in this State, any white  bread or rolls which does not contain vitamins and minerals in each pound of  such bread or rolls as follows:  not less than 1.1 milligrams and not more than  1.8 milligrams of thiamine;  not less than 0.7 milligrams and not more than 1.6  milligrams of riboflavin;  not less than 10.0 milligrams and not more than 15.0  milligrams of niacin;  not less than 8.0 milligrams and not more than 12.5  milligrams of iron.
