2A:15-46 - Recognizance filed;  record book

2A:15-46.  Recognizance filed;  record book    Every recognizance of bail shall be filed in the office of the clerk of the  court in which the action is pending, within 2 days after the approval of the  bail, and the clerk shall thereupon deliver a bail piece to the bail. The  clerk shall keep a properly indexed book for recording abstracts of recognizances of bail, which shall be accessible to all persons at all proper times.  The abstract to be recorded in such book shall contain a statement of the name of the court, the names of plaintiff and defendant and the bail, the residence of the bail and the amount of the bail.
