2A:158-2 - County prosecutor substituted for prosecutor of the pleas
2A:158-2. County prosecutor substituted for prosecutor of the pleas In any statute in which the designation "prosecutor of the pleas" is used, it shall be construed to mean the county prosecutor. Until the term of any existing prosecutor of the pleas shall expire and a county prosecutor be appointed to succeed him as provided in this article, such prosecutor of the pleas shall have all of the powers, perform all of the duties and be entitled to the compensation of a county prosecutor for such county.
