30:4C-33. Compromise and settlement of claims
The Bureau of Childrens Services may compromise and settle any claim due or which may become due such bureau for reimbursement of moneys paid to any individual or organization for maintenance of a child. A memorandum of the compromise and settlement shall be entered in the official records of the bureau.
