3B:14-42 - Recovery of damages for injury to property subsequently transferred

3B:14-42.  Recovery of damages for injury to property subsequently transferred    A person injuring, damaging or destroying property while in the hands of a fiduciary shall be liable to the fiduciary in an action for damages for the benefit of his cestui que trust or persons in interest.  The fiduciary's right to substantial damages shall not be affected by the fact that he may have transferred or conveyed the property to his cestui que trust, or other person, after the time of the injury, damage or destruction and before action brought.
