4:5-26 - Report of salvage or proceeds of slaughtered animal

4:5-26.  Report of salvage or proceeds of slaughtered animal    The salvage is the net amount received from the sale of the animal or animals, and a report of such sale shall be made on blanks furnished for that purpose by the department, signed by the purchaser or his agent, and in no case  shall the owner receive compensation from the state if the statement prove  false.  Delivery and slaughtering charges may be deducted, but any charges for  holding the animal pending slaughter shall not be deducted and any such charges  will not be paid by the state.
