40:48-4.13. Not used for hire The use of municipally owned buses, vans or other motor vehicles for transportation of senior citizens and handicapped citizens pursuant to this act shall not be construed or used for hire and shall not be subject to regulation by or the jurisdiction of the Department of Transportation.
