40A:9-148 - Tax and deputy assessors; term of office; vacancies
40A:9-148. Tax and deputy assessors; term of office; vacancies Every municipal tax assessor and deputy assessor shall hold his office for a term of 4 years from the first day of July next following his appointment.
Vacancies other than due to expiration of term shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired term.
