44:2-9 - Stewards in third-class counties
44:2-9. Stewards in third-class counties The stewards of the almshouses in counties of the third class shall be appointed by the boards of chosen freeholders of the counties, which boards shall also fix the terms for which such stewards shall be appointed, and their compensation.
