44:4-122.  Appropriation by freeholders for relief of permanent or indoor poor    Such provision for expense for the relief of the permanent or indoor poor shall upon the approval of the board of chosen freeholders, be included in the budgets of the respective counties on certification thereof by the respective county welfare boards for the ensuing calendar or fiscal year, and an amount shall be appropriated sufficient in the judgment of the board of freeholders to  meet the necessary expenditures.
