46:16-12 - Instruments proved as provided by section 46:14-4 filed by recording officer;  copies recorded in other counties

46:16-12.  Instruments proved as provided by section 46:14-4 filed by recording officer;  copies recorded in other counties    All deeds or instruments proved as provided by section 46:14-4 of this title  shall, when recorded as provided by section 46:16-11 of this title, be filed  and kept as deeds which are recorded ten years after the date of the acknowledgment or proof thereof are required to be kept by section 46:16-8 of this title.  A copy of any such deed or instrument so filed, duly certified, with copies of the certificates of proof or acknowledgment by the county recording officer in whose office the same is filed, under his hand and seal, may be recorded in any other proper office in this state, in the same manner as  the original deed or instrument might have been;  but the record of such copy  shall be available and sufficient for notice only as provided by said section  46:16-8.
