52:16A-66 Minutes; Governor's approval of actions.7.A true copy of the minutes of every meeting of the board of trustees shall be delivered promptly, after the certification of the chair thereof, to the Governor. No action taken at a meeting by the board of trustees shall have effect until approved by the Governor or until 10 days after the copy of the minutes shall have been delivered. If, in the 10-day period, the Governor returns the copy of the minutes with a veto of any action taken by the board or any member thereof at a meeting, such action shall be null. The Governor may approve all or part of the action taken at a meeting prior to the expiration of the 10-day period.
