52:35-9 - False statements in questionnaire or at hearing; misdemeanor
52:35-9. False statements in questionnaire or at hearing; misdemeanor Any person who makes, or causes to be made, a false, deceptive or fraudulent statement in the questionnaire required to be submitted, or in the course of any hearing under this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than one hundred dollars nor more than one thousand dollars and shall be permanently disqualified from bidding on all public work of the state; or, in the case of an individual or the officer or employee charged with the duty of making such questionnaire for a person, firm, copartnership, association or corporation, to pay such fine or undergo imprisonment, not exceeding six months, or both.
