58:10-23.11z.  Recommendations for amendments to this act to conform with federal legislation    If the United States Congress enacts legislation providing compensation for  the discharge of petroleum and hazardous products, the commissioner shall determine to what degree that legislation provides the needed protection for our citizens, businesses and environment and shall make the appropriate recommendations to the Legislature for amendments to this act.
