13-4-35. Exemption.

With the exclusion of that portion of work covering street lighting and traffic signals, the Subcontractors Fair Practices Act [13-4-31 NMSA 1978] shall not apply to contracts for the construction, improvement or repair of streets or highways, including bridges, underground utilities within easements including but not limited to water lines, sewer lines and storm sewer lines.
