Section 27-5-8 - Board certification to county commissioners.
27-5-8. Board certification to county commissioners.
For the purpose of providing funds for the administration of the Indigent Hospital and County Health Care Act [27-5-1 NMSA 1978], the board shall each year certify the amount needed to the board of county commissioners. For the first year of operation the board shall estimate the amount necessary, and in succeeding years the board may use the previous year's experience to determine the amount necessary.
