61-6-25. False statement; penalty. (Repealed effective July 1, 2016.)

Any person making a false statement under oath or a false affidavit shall be guilty of a fourth degree felony and upon conviction shall be sentenced in accordance with the Criminal Sentencing Act [31-18-1 NMSA 1978] to eighteen months imprisonment and, in the sentencing court's discretion, to a fine of not more than five thousand dollars ($5,000).
