Section 74-6A-7 - Loan program; administration.
74-6A-7. Loan program; administration.
A. The division shall establish a program to provide financial assistance to local authorities, individually or jointly, for acquisition, construction or modification of wastewater facilities. The division as agent of the commission is authorized to enter into contracts and other agreements to carry out the provisions of the Wastewater Facility Loan Construction Act [Chapter 74, Article 6A NMSA 1978], including but not limited to contracts and agreements with federal agencies, local authorities and other parties.
B. The commission shall adopt a system for the ranking of wastewater facility construction projects for financial assistance.
