76-22-11. Commission; limitation on liability.

The members of the commission and employees of the commission shall not be held individually responsible in any way to any producer, processor, distributor or any other person, for errors in judgment, mistakes or other acts, either of commission or omission, as principal, agent, person or employee, except for their individual acts of gross negligence or criminality. No member or employee shall be held individually responsible for any act or omission of any other member or employee.  The liability of the members of the commission shall be several and not joint, and no member shall be liable for the default of any other member.
