Section 76-22-17 - Supplemental assessment.
76-22-17. Supplemental assessment.
A. The commission may authorize a supplemental assessment to the assessments provided for in the Organic Commodity Act [Chapter 76, Article 22 NMSA 1978], which shall be collected or paid in the same manner as the assessments.
B. If a supplemental assessment is authorized it shall not exceed one-fourth of one percent of the total gross sales of the organically produced food articles.
