§ 403. Payment of abandoned property. 1. In such succeeding month of October, and on or before the tenth day thereof, every such corporation shall pay to the state comptroller all abandoned property specified in the last preceding report made to the state comptroller pursuant to section four hundred one, excepting such abandoned property as since the date of such report shall have ceased to be abandoned. 2. Such payment shall be accompanied by a statement setting forth such information as the state comptroller may require relating to such abandoned property as shall have ceased to be abandoned.
