432 - Superintendent.
§ 432. Superintendent. Where an institution continued or established pursuant to section four hundred thirty of this article is located on the grounds of any other institution in the department, the superintendent or director of such other institution may be the chief executive officer of both institutions. In such case the term superintendent as used in this article shall be deemed to mean such person, irrespective of the title by which he may be known. In any other case a superintendent shall be appointed to be the head of each institution established pursuant to section four hundred thirty, or the head of any institution continued under such section shall continue in office, in accordance with and subject to the provisions of section eighteen of this chapter.
