§ 473. Application of article. The provisions of this article shall not apply to guards or other employees in a state prison or reformatory or an employee in the department of correction who shall have entered or re-entered service in such prisons, reformatory or department or the former prison department on or after April eleventh, nineteen hundred and twenty-five, or hereafter shall enter or re-enter such service.
