§ 11-107. Administration and enforcement. Except as otherwise expressly provided herein, the administration and enforcement of the provisions of the code within any municipality shall be the responsibility of that governmental entity which is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the provisions of the building construction code or the fire prevention and building construction code applicable within such municipality. The code shall be administered and enforced in the manner prescribed by applicable local law or ordinance or the procedures adopted pursuant to section three hundred eighty-one of the executive law for the administration and enforcement of the state uniform fire prevention and building construction code.
