§ 71-1723. Issuance of subpoenas; compelling the attendance and testimony of witnesses. The commissioner may issue subpoenas, compel the attendance of witnesses and compel them to testify in any matter or proceeding before him, brought under this title or the provisions of this chapter listed in section 71-1701. In any such matter or proceeding the commissioner may also require a witness to attend and give testimony in a county where he resides or has a place of business without the payment of any fees.
