§ 45.01 Definitions. When used in this article: 1. "Commission" means the state commission on quality of care and advocacy for persons with disabilities. 2. "Council" means the advisory council to the commission. 3. "Boards of visitors" means the boards of visitors as used in article seven and article thirteen of this chapter. 4. "Board" means the mental hygiene medical review board. 5. "Mental hygiene facility" means a facility as defined in subdivision six of section 1.03 of this chapter and facilities for the operation of which an operating certificate is required pursuant to article sixteen or thirty-one of this chapter and including family care homes. "Mental hygiene facility" also means a secure treatment facility as defined by article ten of this chapter. 6. "Disability" means disability as defined in subdivision twenty-one of section two hundred ninety-two of the executive law.
