* § 37.03 Definitions. Whenever used in this article, unless a different meaning clearly appears from the context, the terms listed below shall have the following meanings: 1. "Mohawk Valley heritage corridor" or "heritage corridor" shall mean the heritage area consisting of the cohesive geographic area identified in paragraph (o) of subdivision one of section 35.03 of this chapter. 2. "Mohawk Valley heritage corridor commission" or "commission" shall mean the Mohawk Valley heritage corridor commission created pursuant to section 37.05 of this article. 3. "Management plan" shall mean the management plan prepared pursuant to section 35.05 of this chapter. 4. "Municipality" means a county, city, town or village located in whole or in part within the heritage corridor. 5. "Chief elected official of a county" shall mean the county executive, or if there is none, the chairman of the board of supervisors, or if there is neither, any other officers possessing similar powers and duties. * NB Repealed April 1, 2013
