2465 - Plans for sports facilities.
* § 2465. Plans for sports facilities. Any participating municipality may by resolution of its governing body or in the case of the city of New York, the board of estimate, prepare and submit a plan to the authority for the acquisition, construction, improvement or modernization of a sports facility. Such a plan may be jointly sponsored by any number of participating municipalities. After submission of a plan by one or more participating municipalities for a sports facility, the authority shall conduct a comprehensive evaluation study concerning the request, including but not limited to the amateur and professional team interest in the facility, potential local support, economic feasibility, the possibilities of multi-purpose use and the availability of land, transportation and ancillary facilities. * NB (Disbanded March, 1980)
