1402 - Delivery of disclosure statement to parent.

§ 1402. Delivery of disclosure statement to parent. 1. A copy of the short form disclosure statement shall be mailed or delivered by the owner, director or other person soliciting the enrollment of a child residing within the state for any children's camp located without the state to the parent or guardian of such child. Such disclosure statement may accompany any literature or solicitation material mailed or delivered to such parent or guardian, but in no event, shall such disclosure statement be mailed or delivered to such parent or guardian later than the mailing or delivery of enrollment application forms and/or enrollment contract forms. 2. No advertisement, or other solicitation material, or enrollment application form or enrollment contract or short form, shall contain any representation that is inconsistent with any material representation or statement made in the disclosure statement or equivalent statement as last renewed or amended. Any such representation shall be deemed to be a deceptive practice pursuant to section three hundred forty-nine of the general business law.
