* § 97-uuu. New York subway littering prevention fund. 1. There is hereby established in the joint custody of the state comptroller and the commissioner of taxation and finance a special fund to be known as the "New York subway littering prevention fund". 2. Such fund shall consist of all moneys collected as a result of the imposition of fines pursuant to section fifty-two-e of the railroad law. 3. Moneys in this fund, following appropriation by the legislature and allocation by the director of the budget, shall be available to the New York city transit authority for the sole purpose of posting signs notifying the public of the maximum fine for littering on subway tracks or rights-of-way in violation of section fifty-two-e of the railroad law. * NB There are 3 § 97-uuu's
