§ 1-339.55. Notification of Governor and Attorney General.

§1‑339.55.  Notification of Governor and Attorney General.

When the State is astockholder in any corporation whose property is to be sold under execution,notice in writing shall be given by the sheriff by registered mail to theGovernor and the Attorney General at least thirty days before the sale, statingthe time and place of the sale and including a copy of the process under theauthority of which such sale is to be made. Any sale held without complyingwith the provisions of this section is invalid with respect to the State. (1949,c. 719, s. 1.)
