§1‑411.  Order and affidavit.

An order for the arrest of thedefendant must be obtained from the court in which the action is brought or ajudge thereof, and may be made where it appears to the court or judge, byaffidavit of the plaintiff or of any other person, that a sufficient cause ofaction exists and that the case is one of those provided for in this Article.
