§1‑567.48.  Equal treatment of parties; representation by attorney.

(a)        The parties shallbe treated with equality and each party shall be given a full opportunity topresent its case.

(b)        A party has theright to be represented by an attorney at any proceeding or hearing under thisArticle.  A waiver of this right prior to the proceeding or hearing isineffective. (1991, c. 292, s. 1; 1997‑141, s. 2.)
