§102‑11. Vertical control.
Whereas the foregoingprovisions of this Chapter heretofore are related to horizontal control only,the administrative agency may adopt standards for vertical control or levyingsurveys consistent with those recommended by and used by the United StatesCoast and Geodetic Survey, and make or cause to be made such surveys as arenecessary to complete the vertical control of North Carolina, in accordancewith the provisions for horizontal control surveys as defined in this Chapter.
