§105‑297. Assistant assessor.
The board of countycommissioners may, upon the recommendation of the assessor, appoint one or moreassistant assessors. The board may delegate to assistant assessors appointedunder this section responsibility for the appraisal of real property, thelisting and appraisal of business property, or such other duties as the boarddeems advisable. Pursuant to Article VI, Sec. 9, of the North CarolinaConstitution, the office of assistant assessor is hereby declared to be an officethat may be held concurrently with any other appointive office.
