§ 105‑449.51. (Effective until January 1, 2009) Violations declared to be misdemeanors.
Any person who operates orcauses to be operated on a highway in this State a motor vehicle that does notcarry a registration card as required by this Article, does not properlydisplay an identification marker as required by this Article, or is notregistered in accordance with this Article is guilty of a Class 3 misdemeanorand, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined two hundred dollars ($200.00).Each day's operation in violation of any provision of this section shallconstitute a separate offense.
