§ 105‑449.54. Commissioner of Motor Vehicles made process agent of nonresident motorcarriers.

By operating a motor vehicleon the highways of this State, a nonresident motor carrier consents to theappointment of the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles as its attorney in fact andprocess agent for all summonses or other lawful process or notice in anyaction, assessment, or other proceeding under this Chapter.
