§ 106‑22.3. Organic Production Program.

(a)        The Board of Agriculture may establish rules, standards,guidelines, and policies for the establishment and implementation of avoluntary program for the certification of organically produced agriculturalproducts.

(b)        The Commissioner of Agriculture may enter into agreementswith the United States Department of Agriculture and may apply for approval,accreditation, certification, or similar authority as may be necessary tocomply with the requirements of the Organic Foods Production Act of 1990,Public Law 101‑624. (1993, c. 147.)
