§ 106‑24.1. Confidentiality of informationcollected and published.
All information published by the Department of Agriculture and ConsumerServices pursuant to this Part shall be classified so as to prevent theidentification of information received from individual farm operators. Allinformation received pursuant to this Part from individual farm operators shallbe held confidential by the Department and its employees. Information collectedby the Department from individual farm operators for the purposes of its animalhealth programs may be disclosed by the State Veterinarian when, in hisjudgment, the disclosure will assist in the implementation of these programs.Animal disease diagnostic tests that identify the owner of the animal shall notbe disclosed without the permission of the owner unless the State Veterinariandetermines that disclosure is necessary to prevent the spread of an animaldisease or to protect the public health.
