§ 106‑284.39. Prohibited acts.

The following acts and the causing thereof within the State of NorthCarolina are hereby prohibited:

(1)        The manufacture or distribution of any commercial feed thatis  adulterated or misbranded.

(2)        The adulteration or misbranding of any commercial feed.

(3)        The distribution of agricultural commodities such as wholeseed, hay, straw, stover, silage, cobs, husks, and hulls, which are adulteratedwithin the meaning of G.S. 106‑284.38(1).

(4)        The removal or disposal of a commercial feed in violation ofan order under G.S. 106‑284.43.

(5)        The failure or refusal to register in accordance with G.S.106‑284.34.

(6)        The violation of G.S. 106‑284.44(f).

(7)        Failure to pay inspection fees and file reports as requiredby G.S. 106‑284.40.

(8)        The use of metal fasteners as bag fasteners or for attachinglabels to the containers of commercial feed. (1973, c. 771, s. 10.)
